How to ensure children's safety on summer bus trips

Ukrtransbezpeka has published the basic requirements and features of transporting organized groups of children by bus.

Before starting the trip, the service advises checking the following:

• The carrier has the appropriate license. This can be done on the MAPA website https://mapa.net.ua/;
• Whether the bus is equipped with a special sign for transporting children (attached to the windshield and rear window of the vehicle);
• Taking into account the number of children to be transported by bus, whether there are enough seats (in accordance with the specified technical characteristics and registration documents of the vehicle);
• Are two drivers involved in driving the bus (if the distance of the trip is more than 250 km)?
• Is there a group leader (if there are 10 or more children), and is the group accompanied by a medical professional (if the group consists of 30 or more children)?
