The Ministry of Development presented Transport Data Hub

Today, Ukraine has just over 1,000 international routes, which provide up to 10 million bus trips each year. Transport Data Hub is a platform for managing transport and logistics data. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Development Serhiy Derkach.

The platform combines data from mobile operators, government agencies, carriers, and other sources, transforming it into interactive dashboards, analytical models, and convenient services.

There are currently two dashboards on the platform:

• Dashboard, mobility of citizens abroad

This data (85% of all movements abroad, data from mobile operators — Ministry of Development) shows the movements of all Ukrainian citizens abroad for 2021-2025. This data enables bus carriers to plan their routes effectively. For example, it is possible to see where Ukrainian diasporas live abroad, assess demand, and open new international routes.

The system also works in the opposite direction, i.e., it is possible to track the internal movement of citizens to and from a specific region of Ukraine. This could provide an impetus for the construction of new bus stations.

In addition, it is possible to track the load on Ukraine's border crossing points.

• International bus transport dashboard

The dashboard contains information about international bus routes, key indicators of routes and completed trips, and tools for researching and analyzing data in various areas. There is a MAP of bus transport and a MAP of connections from the bus station to the destination.

This data will help you plan your route, choose your destination country, and see which carriers are operating and what routes are currently available. This will help bus carriers compete effectively or collaborate.

In addition, you can see and filter the regions and district centers through which the bus route departs/runs/arrives.

The next step for 2026, according to the Ministry of Development, is:

• Illegal transportation dashboard (analysis and monitoring of illegal passenger carriers)
• Accident dashboard (will collect statistics and analysis of road accidents)

Currently, the system tracks international routes, but in the future, it is planned to scale the project to all bus connections and connect all types of transport (rail, sea, and air).
