A mural in honor of the Artan Special Forces was unveiled at Kyiv Central Bus Station

A mural dedicated to the reconnaissance men of the «Artan» Special Forces unit of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine was unveiled at the Central Bus Station in Kyiv.

The mural was unveiled on June 1, 2022, on the anniversary of the unit's creation. The opening ceremony was attended by the command, warriors and DIU representatives.

The mural depicts the moments of various operations of «Artan»

«Three years ago, it all started as an idea, with a small group of people. Today, it is already dozens of operations, hundreds of decisions, brothers-in-arms who look into each other's eyes and know that each of us is part of a big family and part of a big story. This picture, however, is not about the past, but rather about responsibility for the future. It's about the fact that we have no right to stop», — says Viktor Torkotiuk, commander of the «Artan».

The author of the work is artist Diana Sorokina, who has painted more than a hundred walls in different cities of Ukraine. She noted that everyone who travels from the Central Bus Station in Kyiv will be able to stop for a moment and feel that the defense of Ukraine is the work of those who act decisively and without fear.

This is the second mural depicted on the walls of the platform of the Kyiv Central Bus Station (by members of the MAPA). We would like to add that the mural on the bus harbor becomes a reminder of the dignity, courage and gratitude to the soldiers. We thank everyone involved.
