First digital permits for intercity bus routes are now available, according to the Ministry of Development

Nearly 40 carriers will receive the first electronic permits for bus routes. This covers 37 routes between different regions of Ukraine. The first permits have already been issued through the carrier’s online account. This was announced by Serhiy Derkach, Deputy Minister of Regional Development, on his Facebook page.

"A digital permit means transparency in the process, less bureaucracy for businesses, and control and minimization of illegal transportation. Now, carriers will no longer need to wait for paper documents. It is enough to generate an electronic permit in the system. It contains a QR code—regulatory authorities can scan it to quickly verify the legality of the route, schedule, and vehicle," wrote Serhiy Derkach, adding that all changes to the permit can be made online, without submitting paper documents.
