The Chaika bus station in Rivne is closing

The Chaika bus station in Rivne will cease operations on April 1, 2026. This decision was made by the owners due to losses. Tickets will be sold at the ticket offices until noon on February 27, according to Suspilne Rivne.

“The Chaika bus station is privately owned and located on private land. Our owners have been incurring losses for several years. Therefore, they made the difficult decision to close the bus station,” said Oksana Kovalchuk, head of the Chaika bus station.

According to the service agreement, the bus station is owned by the company Rivnespetsbudinvest Management Company. According to information from the YouControl analytical system, the company was registered in 2009, and its main activity is the rental and operation of its own or leased real estate.

It is not yet known where the buses will depart from.

The Chaika bus station began operating on April 5, 2011. The bus terminal cost investors UAH 10 million.
